England Golf have launched the SafeGolf accreditation, part of the England Golf affiliation process, from April 2021 and must be achieved by all counties.
SafeGolf is an accreditation process designed to enable clubs to ensure they are delivering a safe environment for the sport to be played in. It will help golf clubs safeguard the welfare of children and young people, as well as adults at risk.

A key step in achieving our accreditation is to appoint a Club Welfare Officer and we are delighted to confirm Erin Button has been appointed this role. Erin is the person within the club with primary responsibility for managing and reporting concerns and allegations and assisting the club in putting safeguarding policies and procedures in place.
