The academy programme is great way to learn golf or get back to the game in a fun, active and sociable environment. We provide a clear route to golf club membership and obtaining handicaps. If you would like to move on to the next stage after hitting balls at a driving range and start to play at Royal Mid-Surrey where we have a friendly, thriving membership, then our golf academy is for you. Our coaches are all fully qualified PGA professionals who have been trained to the highest level; more importantly they will adapt their coaching to your needs in a manner that will make learning fun, light-hearted and effective.
Who is it for?
Those who are new to the game, occasional golfers or lapsed golfers who are interested in playing golf and joining Royal Mid-Surrey.
We recognise that joining a golf club, particularly one with a history going back more than 125 years, can be a daunting prospect. We would like to take the intimidation away by improving your golf and confidence, gradually introducing you to the golf club and our friendly members at your own pace, by learning both individually and in groups.
What’s involved?
The Academy is a six month programme which provides intensive coaching along with regular social activities and playing opportunities on the course.
The Spring 2022 Academy is fully subscribed but we’d love to hear from you. Please contact the Royal Mid-Surrey Pro Shop team to add your name to the waiting list for future academies.
